The Energy Information Administration (EIA) releases its weekly Petroleum Report, including supply data, for each Saturday-To-Friday week the following Wednesday at 10:30 AM EDT, excluding holidays. This data is reproduced below or is publicly available HERE.

Crude Oil Imports

The United States’ biggest oil partners include Canada–where nearly 40% of imported crude is produced–Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Venezuela, and Colombia.

Domestic Crude Oil Production

The biggest domestic producers of crude oil include Texas, North Dakota, California, and Oklahoma. After surging to over 9.6 million barrels per day in mid-2015, crude oil production has shown signs of slowing amidst an historic slashing of crude oil drilling rigs.

Total Crude Oil Supply

Total crude oil supply is composed of imports plus domestic production. The two typically trade in a reciprocal fashion with crude oil imports increasing as domestic production wanes, and vice versa.
